Apparel with a Purpose

“Every purchase can save a life”

Welcome to Rust & Iron Clothing Company. Created by Firemen, we are a lifestyle brand that was built to “ give back”. A personality trait that drove us into the Fire / EMS/ Wildland lifestyle in the first place, was the desire & ability to help others in need.

At Rust & Iron, our primary mission is to give back by donating between 10% and 20% of every sale to support Fire, EMS, Wildland, and Law Enforcement personnel, as well as their families, who are affected by job-related health issues, mental illness, PTSD, substance abuse, and suicide.

We’ve partnered with The Overwatch Collective, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by two United States Marines and a Police Officer. As of March 10, 2025, Rust & Iron has contributed $1,650 in sales—equivalent to approximately 15 therapy sessions—to The Overwatch Collective, which directly funds therapy for first responders in need.

Medical insurance can place a significant financial burden on a responder’s family, especially when it comes to out-of-pocket costs like therapy copays. As a result, many first responders are forced to delay the help they need, often having to choose between putting food on the table or seeking essential mental health support.

“Honor the Craft” has long been a guiding principle in the fire service, representing the respect for lessons and skills passed down by our Brothers and Sisters before us. It serves as a reminder to always strive for excellence on the job. We believe this motto should extend beyond the firehouse—into the homes of the responders who dedicate their lives to serving others.
